The test i took for fagen before, was like 20 questions, open uglys book. dont see how an electrician with experience could fail.

As someone who has taken Fagen's test and made 100% without use of a calculator or blue book then the people that are taking this test and failing it don't know pipe has a hole in it!

There old test was a piece of cake, If you took this new test and made 100% than I been working with bar instead of pipe for a long time.

As for people who took the pipe test some time back and passed it, well great for you...lol
cause this isn't the same test...they just revised it and we were the first group to take it....yes it is a ****ty test...but the terminolgy is what is screwing people up...if you don't use the exact word they have as the answer then you are counted wrong...there are lots of other things that make it a wack test...anyway...I failed it by 1 this morning then took the welding test and passed...so atleast it worked out for me...not so great for many others that drove many many miles on budgets to get jobs...guess the nccer don't mean jack here and they don't care if you just worked for them on the last job for 9 months you have to take the NEW jacked up test...

I worked for FAGEN 3 times in the past. I am NCCER Certified. I found this to be a "NCCER Type" test. You better study... my brother has been a fitter for 30 years and it was know walk in the park for him either.

WARNING: Study Study study and Study again.
