i think theyre giving 2 hours now instead of 1 on all tests, because the fail rate was so high. its more about how fast you can find the answers in the codebook, than how good of an electrician you are.
electricians do it with strippers n dikes |

Just remember how they are when the demand for workers are high and they can't man their job cause nobody with a brain wants to work for them.... |

fagan a joke? well keep in mind at 47 plus an hour on a more then normal job which this is working 40+ hours a week that has the pay at 71 plus as well aint to bad now a days or any other time when work is good. Am I a forever fagen man hell no but im happy as hell to be here doing this at that rate.. |

Aren't you on the Fagen job in PA? If the answer is yes, You don't seem to mind sucking the Fagen T*T at 47+ an hour for 40 hours. Be thankful you have a job! If not, quit your whining and drag up and give somebody else a chance to make some money! |

Worked at Becon in Kentucky they had superintendents , G.F. 's , Foreman that couldn't spell electrician Its not Fagen's fault you guys failed its yours . Pick up your books because this is going to be the future of things to come and I like it. I really don't like working with so-called electricians that aren't familiar with the code book .

you know scott anyone can read a book, but that doesn't mean he knows what he is doing on the job...i would rather work with someone that doesn't have his NCCER card,,but does have lots of years on the job knowing what to do..some of us may not read really well but i guaranty you if they have been doing the work longer then you have, you'll be asking how to do it. |

I was a millwright when I was younger I can see in that field experience is key . With electricity things are always changing and that guy who learned to bend pipe and nothing else can get you hurt . Theres allot of so-called electricians thats why companies are coming up with tests and the nccer is a joke for electricians it is the bare minimum of what a journeyman electrician should know .  I agree with the too many people getting jobs that don't know sh*t and dont care cuz they know someone . Amen brother !!!

| here in clearfield 3 more new guys tried to make the cut. one busted the drug test yet again by trying to pour good pee from a bottle into the cup and got caught. another guy failed the electrical test which is now a 2 hour test instead of the 1. the other guy passed both the drug and pipe test and made it. |
