I was raised there, lived there about 20 years, great town to go to high school in. Jacksonville isn't bad either.

Boeing applied for permits a month/6weeks ago, break ground this month...goal to be up and running in 2011. These guys are NOT fooling around. They are way in the hole production-wise. Looks like good OT to me... Just waiting to see what crafts are going to be in demand. Like I said, it's just a great big building.I see electricians, instrument fitters, HVAC people (TIG welders for the ductwork) cement guys (the floor has to be exactly right)iron heads,crane operators (BIG building)... of course they need a lot of others, this is just an educated guess. Have worked in that kind of building, I saw what was there after the hands moved on...Welcome to Charleston... be sure to check out the WindJammer on the IOP.

It's pretty easy to keep up on it... go to www.charleston.net. That's the local paper on-line. Then you can search for Boeing etc... It's a big deal here so it'll be in the paper.

i think you guys are full of it about this boeing plant. you say its in the paper but the link you left dont have **** about the ground breaking. so let us know when this **** is for real or shut the **** up!
