Job Description : The EG&G Division is a leading provider of management and technical services to the U.S. government. Our staff provides program management, systems engineering and technical assistance,as well as operations and maintenance services to a variety of federal agencies, primarily the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.
EG&G is currently seeking a energetic skilled Welder to join our EG&G team here in the Norfolk, VA facility.
The chosen candidate's job duties will include but will not be limited to:
1. Be instrumental in assisting setting up, equipping, and maintaining a weld shop for the EG&G AIT Team.
2. Assist in generating weld procedures for NAVSEA approval for present and future welding requirements.
3. Perform day to day operation of the weld shop.
4. Become certified to perform welding requirements as necessary to provide support to EG&G AIT tasks in the shop and at remote shipboard locations.
