El Paso Corporation owns and operates North America’s largest natural gas pipeline system. We are currently seeking an experienced, skilled welder for our Central Maintenance Division located in the ALBANY, NY AREA.

• Perform pipe fabrication welds, in-service welds, tie-ins welds and hot taps on steel pipelines that range in various sizes up to 42” O.D.
• Required to pass company’s welding qualification tests according to API 1101 utilizing Group I, II and III electrodes
• Position requires significant overnight travel, working other than normal hours, overtime, schedule changes, the ability to respond to call-outs and work in adverse weather and extreme temperature conditions.
• Requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent; a valid driver’s license; computer skills; the ability to work in a team environment;
and manual dexterity with the physical ability to work extended hours, climbing and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds.
